MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

A Moultrie senior care facility had a very special birthday party this afternoon.

Residents and employees at the Uni-Health Acute Care Center were signing happy birthday to Miss Marjie Bishop.

Miss Marjie turned 100 years young today. She was born in Dodge County and has lived at the Moultrie Center for a number of years.

Marjie's secret to longevity is believed to be due to the face... she is always smiling.

"One of her favorite things is going to the beauty shop and have her nails done. She loves to have her nails done," said Activity Director Margaret Moore.

Miss Marjie is also known for singing and she loves to attend socials at the center.
