ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Some Albany employees spent their day off by helping others.

Employees from the Stonebridge Golf Course and Country Club served up a holiday luncheon to members of the community, at the Methodist Church.

Families got clothes, and each child got a toy. One employee says it's a great way to show their gratitude for their blessings.

"We've been blessed this whole Christmas with our jobs and we have homes and we have homes. So, we just want to give back and show them there are people who care and there are people that love them," said Lacey Farley Kimsey of Stonebridge Golf and Country Club.

The Stonebridge employees pitched in to buy all the food. The clothes and toys were all donated to the cause.
