New elections office is open in Ben Hill Co.

BEN HILL CO., GA (WALB) -

Ben Hill County has a new home for their Board of Elections.

The newly renovated office at 115 West Pine Street. Employees moved into the building last week. The 2,000 square feet building has more convenient parking, new sidewalk ramps and upgrades to flooring and bathrooms. Everything from the old office will be moved over to the new location. 

"From the front door to the back it's accessible to all votes, even those with disabilities and that was one of our key points is to make it as accessible as possible," said Cindi Dunlap.

There a few more renovations to take place but, the Board of Elections office open to the public.
