ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany Free Masons make sure children going through tough times have everything they need for a merry Christmas.

They donated turkey, ham, and canned goods to Open Arms, enough food to feed at least 10 kids.

They also brought toys and 100-dollars gift cards to Walmart.

"Well it's important that children know that there are people out there that's willing to give without having any reason to receive anything back," said Nathaniel Norman.

Open Arms provides shelter for abused and homeless children and those transitioning into or out of foster care. The masons also provided the children haircuts and book bags throughout the year.
