Corydon still picking up one month after EF3 tornado

Its been one month since an EF3 tornado roared through Corydon in Henderson County.

You can still see tornado damage on houses located on US 60 in Corydon. Workers were out earlier Wednesday afternoon continuing to repair the damage.

Corydon, which has a little over 700 people, had an EF3 tornado go through town the night of November 17th.

We're told three homes were destroyed, a church was damaged, and many homes had trees pulled from their yards. The city reports insurance companies have been working well with homeowners.

Annete Brewster, whose home had damage, says she can't express enough appreciation for all the help they've received.

"It has just been a blessing, so many people outpouring with kindness. It's just been great," Brewster said.

Brewster says in all, it's really brought the community closer together.

The city says repairs and cleanup is still ongoing and will be for quite some time.
