Car possibly used in burglaries sought

1993 Chevy Lumina 1993 Chevy Lumina
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Dougherty Police hope you can help them find a car that may have been used in home burglaries.

They believe a break-in over the weekend in the 2800 block of Moultrie Road and one December 11th in the 600 block of County Line Road are connected.

Police are looking for a 1993 4 door white Chevy Lumina that looks much like the picture Dougherty County police sent us. And want to locate the owner.

The plate number is PQZ 9925.

Police say the owner is not a suspect but may be unaware the car is being used.

Daugherty Police Captain Tom Jackson says the concern is that these burglaries could escalate into someone being injured or killed.

Both robberies occurred during the day. One occupant was home at the time and one owner showed up during the robbery at a different location.

If you have seen the vehicle, know how to reach the owner Susan McConnell or have any information call the Dougherty County police department or crime stoppers at 436-TIPS.
