A tifton woman is keeping the spirit of giving going.
Brittney McKinnon donated a few gifts to children in need last year and her mission is growing this year.
Mckinnon established the Cheerful Givers Christmas toy drive, a name she says was inspired by a bible verse.
The drive was held today from 11 until 5pm at the Tift County Neighborhood Community Center. Anyone who donated a toy got a free meal donated by Tifton restaurants.
"The Lord put it on my heart that I should do this again, it was a vision that I should make it bigger and bigger and I wanted to get the community involved," said Mckinnon.
Although the event has ended you can still make a donation, send an e-mail to email@example.com for additional details. Cheerful givers plans to distribute toys on Saturday.
