More than a dozen families celebrated Christmas ealy on Saturday.
Volunteers with Shriners Hospital held a Christmas party for about 22 kids at their club site.
Children got to visit with Santa Claus, and make cookies. They were fed a hamburger and hot dog lunch, plus dessert.
Each child was presented with some early Christmas gifts. Shriners has 22 hospitals in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
"These kids are all going to at least one of them and that's what we are all about, these kids," says organizer Allen Jernigan.
"I think its a really good thing and they help us a lot," says patient Lynsey Hettrick.
Shriners is a non-profit hospital established in the early 1920s.
