FITZGERALD, GA (WALB) -

A Ben Hill County student club's service project will help families in need stay warm this winter.

The 4-H club is collecting coats.

From now until December 20th, you can drop off coats at the Ben Hill County Extension Service office or Christian Kitchen in Fitzgerald.

So far they've collected 100 coats. They hope to get at least 250.

"We're really emphasizing children's' coats cause we haven't exactly gotten a lot of those so far. But we also accepted adults' coats, but we're really emphasizing children's' coats.

The coats will be distributed December 21st at the Christian Kitchen.
