LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Limestone County investigators have arrested a man in connection to burglaries at a Highway 72 grocery store.

49-year-old Byron Lynn Roberts of Rogersville was arrested on two counts of third-degree burglary. An anonymous tip led investigators to Roberts, who is believed to be connected to recent burglaries at the S&Z Grocery.

The store had been broken into two times in recent weeks. Between the two break-ins, over 70 cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen.
