HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

The man dubbed the "Ball Cap Bandit" will plead guilty to federal charges according to documents filed in United States District Court.

Cedrick Lamont Hicks is accused of robbing or attempting to rob banks in Huntsville, Madison, Guntersville, Decatur, Rogersville, Albertville, Cullman, Hamilton, and Pulaski.

Investigators say Hicks wore a ball cap during most of the hold ups.

Hicks will appear in court December 18 for a change of plea hearing.

Hicks also faces federal charges in Tennessee and state charges in Lauderdale County.
