If you’re out and about today make sure you stay hydrated. Temperatures will feel much warmer than they really are. It's the hottest day of summer and South Georgians are beating the heat by staying cool at Turtle Park. More >>

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The man accused of sexually assaulting a woman during the Texas A&M football game is being escorted by officers with LSU Police from Georgia to Baton Rouge.

Monday, police in Atlanta arrested 32-year old Albert Ford. LSU Police Lt. Marshal Walters said detectives linked Ford's DNA to the case and then issued an arrest warrant.

Police said the suspect attacked the woman in a portable toilet near Francioni Hall. Even though Ford is from Atlanta, police believe he was selling extra game tickets outside the stadium.

LSU police collected a DNA sample and gave it to Louisiana State Police. Reports say the DNA matched a sample from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Ford is expected to be booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison this evening.
