HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A burglar made off with over $2,000 worth of Crimson Tide merchandise from a Huntsville department store Tuesday morning.

It happened after 4 a.m. at the Stein Mart on Airport Road. A witness heard the store's alarm sounding and saw a person coming out of a broken-out front door carrying items.

The witness saw the burglar running toward Queensbury Drive. Officers set up a perimeter but were unable to locate the suspect.
