Storm drain improvements begin in west Albany

Posted: Updated:

Drivers in west Albany are being asked to slow down as crews begin work on storm water drainage improvements.

Crews shut down West Roosevelt Avenue between Pine Avenue and North Davis Street Monday.

This work is expected to last for several months. Oxford Construction Company submitted a traffic control plan which will allow access to businesses in that area.

The Storm Water Drainage Improvement Project is funded with SPLOST revenue.

Drivers are asked to reduce speed and be aware of changing traffic conditions in the area.
