Albany police search for gunman involved in armed robbery

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Police say a gunman entered Little Caesars on North Slappy Blvd around 9 p.m. Saturday night and demanded money. 

The gunman, a black male described as wearing dark clothing and covering his face, fired one shot as he exited the business, and fled on foot.

Police say the same man may have attempted to rob the Subway on East Oakridge Dr. as well.

The incident remains under investigation.

    Despite the scattered showers, we saw Saturday some people just couldn't resist hitting the water. In the morning, the Kinchafoonee Creek was at a good water level for boaters.
