ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany's Recreation and Parks Director Susanne Davis has announced that she will leave her position with the city and take a new position in Florida at the beginning of the year.

Davis says she has accepted the position of Parks and Recreation Director in Delray Beach, Florida. She has fulfilled her current role in Albany for the last 7 years.

Davis will begin her new position in January.
