Masked gunmen rob Ocilla Harvey's, workers duct taped

OCILLA, GA (WALB) -

Police in Ocilla are reviewing surveillance video of a bold armed robber at a Harvey's supermarket. Around midnight, police say three masked men wearing coveralls stormed inside the store on Irwin Avenue.

All three robbers were armed, one with a high powered assault rifle. Investigators say two employees were tied up with duct tape while the robbers forced the store manager to empty the safe.

The trio tried to destroy the store's surveillance system with bleach but failed.

The employees were not hurt but the robbers got away with thousands of dollars in cash.

So far no arrests have been made.
