ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Kids are learning some fun lessons, even while school is out.

The Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska Heritage Center hosted a Fintistic Day Camp Monday. It will continue Tuesday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a focus on alligators.

Riverquarium Education Manager Melissa Martin said, "You need some place for your child to go while you're doing some shopping or getting ready for the holidays this will be a nice safe place for the kids to come."

The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.

The Riverquarium has more holiday activities planned. Learn more about the 12 Days of Fishmas here:  http://flintriverquarium.com/documents/fishmas2013.pdf
