South Albany Masonic lodge feeds community thanksgiving dinner
ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
dinner came early to some South Albany residents.
Members of the King Solomon Masonic Lodge #14 on South Madison Street
had their annual Feed the Community Day.
They gave out
traditional thanksgiving meals to people, and surrounding churches in the area.
They also gave out clothing, including jackets and coats. Everything was free.
take care of us. They look after the property when were not here and anytime we
have functions they come and participate. We want to give back to them and tell
them thank you for watching out as well as incorporating them into this whole
process," said Eddie Jones.
More than 700
people were served a hot thanksgiving meal.
