ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

More proof tonight that the mall is ready for the holiday season, Santa Claus is in town.      Santa officially arrived at the Albany Mall at about seven to visit all the children and their families.

He made a grand entrance by train. Santa told us while he enjoys his visit to Albany; the elves are busy back at the North Pole working on everyone's gifts.

"Oh yes we do a lot of them, elves are right now at the North Pole working on them and I tell you, we have high tech elves now, they know how to do all the electronic stuff, Santa's still working on that, but they are up there getting everything ready and Ms. Claus is getting my cookies set up," said Santa Claus.

You can visit Santa at the Albany Mall Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 6 PM. Santa will depart at 6 PM on Christmas Eve.
