ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Attorneys at an Albany law office are growing their bears to raise awareness for men's health. Attorneys at the law offices of Watson Spence are participating in No-Shave November.

They've put their razors away to raise prostate cancer awareness. It's a disease that they say hits close to home.

"All of us here have had some family member or close friend touched by prostate cancer and so we decided to focus on that and to participate and honor those folks and to raise awareness," said Faison Middleton.

The men are collectively donating $1000.00 to the Phoebe Foundation "Lights of Love" in honor of Dr. Chuck Mendenhall and his years of treating prostate cancer in Albany.

For the older generation, people remember the pre-flood, pre-Albany Mall days when downtown Albany was the place to shop and eat. Now, it's the younger generation that's pushing for a vibrant downtown.
