ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany's Turner Job Corps is now enrolling new students again.

Since the enrollment freeze was lifted in April, Turner has added close to 300 new students. Applications will be accepted though the winter months. And they have a few spots left for eligible students. The program can help students earn a high school diploma, GED and job training.

"We know what it does and we know what it does for the nations youth, we're here to make sure they are employable and we know the employers are looking for individuals who can walk on the job for that on the job training. And were here to help the nation's youth, especially those that are at risk," said Calandra Jefferson, Business and Community Liaison.

Students must meet requirement to be admitted. And they can call 229-883-5500 to find out the enrollment process.
