Albany City Engineer Bruce Maples, has announced the Temporary Road Closure of E. Broad Avenue from Marie Road to N. West Road.
Starting today at 9:00 A.M., Power Secure will be replacing transmission power poles for MEAG Power on E. Broad Avenue.
For safety, E. Broad Avenue will be closed between Marie Road and N. West Road from 9:00A.M. until 4:00 P.M. on November 25 and November 26.
Power Secure has submitted a traffic control plan with the detour route using the following city streets: Marie Road, Pineview Avenue, and N. West Road.
Detour signs will be installed to aid the traveling public.
Motorists are advised to use caution, reduce speed and be alert of changing traffic conditions in the area.
