ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Bond has been set for two women who have been charged with leaving an infant alone at an East Albany daycare center Wednesday.

Glenda Spence and Virginia Thrower are both charged with Reckless Conduct which is a misdemeanor.

Thrower is the assistant director and Spence is also an employee at the center on Brierwood Drive

Bond has been set at $1,000 for Spence and Thrower who were still in the Dougherty County Jail Thursday morning.

WALB News 10 broke the news Wednesday night that the baby was left alone in an east Albany daycare center for two and a half hours.

The 11-month old boy was left in a crib when the nursery closed at 5:30 Wednesday afternoon.

It was eight o'clock that night when management returned and unlocked the door so the baby could be removed.

The baby is okay.
