ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A video promoting Albany as a great place to live and visit has gotten 8 thousand hits on you-tube so far.

This "choose Albany" video debuted in October at the Georgia Economic Developers Association meeting in Macon.

The two minute video produced by the Albany-Dougherty Economic development Commission highlights all sorts of things Albany has to offer. E-D-C leaders hope it will help attract new businesses.

"What we want to do is develop one message that we can all get behind and support, a believable message about who we are as a community and what we have to offer," says Ted Clem, President of the Albany-Dougherty Economic Development Commission.

The crew traveled 200 miles to shoot the all the footage. We've got a link to the video, just click here.
