AMERICUS, GA (WALB) -

A celebrity will soon put on a one-man show in Americus.  The Rylander Theatre will host IronE Singelton's "Blindsided by the Walking Dead."

It's a biographical story about the actor best known for his portrayal of a drug kingpin in "The Blind Side" and T-Dog in AMC's "The Walking Dead."

The theatre's manager says Singleton's story is inspirational.

"He did not have the best up-bringing and it's kind of his triumph over adversity.  It tells his life story.  It's very raw, it's very real.  It's definitely for mature audiences," said Heather Stanley, Managing Director.

The performance begins at 8 o'clock on Saturday, December 7th.  Singleton will sign autographs and take photos with fans after the play.

Stanley says discounted tickets will be sold until November 27th, and VIP passes are also currently on sale.  Visit http://www.rylander.org/ , or call the box office at (229)931-0001 for more information on the show.
