2 suspects wanted in home invasion, armed robbery in Georgetown Co.

GEORGETOWN, SC (WMBF) – The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help in identifying two male suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in the Santee Community of Georgetown County.

At about 12:45 a.m. Wednesday morning, two African-American male suspects entered the victims' residence on Bessellieu Drive through the back porch door, officials stated  in a news release. The armed suspects forced the victims to the floor, demanded money, then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle in an unknown direction. No one was injured.

The first suspect is described by sheriff's officials as being in his mid-thirties, 6-feet tall, with a medium build and darker complexion. The second suspect is described as in his mid-twenties, shorter than the first suspect, and wearing faded blue jeans with white lettering on the back, and a pair of green, grey and black Nike Bo Jackson shoes.

Anyone that can identify the suspects or has information about the robbery is asked to call the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 843-546-5101, or text "GCSOTIP" to 274637 to text a tip anonymously.
