Arrest made in rape of teen in abandoned house after school

(WMC-TV) - Memphis police arrested a man accused of raping a teenager who was walking home from school.

Dshone Jones, 18, is locked up at 201 Poplar on rape and kidnapping charges.

According to an affidavit of complaint, the 14-year-old was walking home from school on September 9 when Jones followed her, grabbed her, and dragged her into a vacant house on Kney Street in North Memphis, where he reportedly raped her.
