Four arrested for drugs in Lowndes County

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

On Tuesday evening, investigators from the Special Operations Division of the Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on Sermans Road near Lester Road.

During the course of the traffic stop, investigators performed a search of the vehicle and located approximately $1,800.00 worth of methamphetamine and a small quantity of marijuana from the occupants of the vehicle.

Investigators also located a quantity of Hydrocodone and Alprazolam, both schedule three narcotics on one of the occupants.

Arrested as a result of this discovery were Johnny Rambo, Bonnie Nix, Danielle Parkinson, and George Beckham Jr.

The four arrested persons were taken to the Lowndes County Jail and booked on the listed charges. They will appear in the Lowndes County Magistrate Court this afternoon for an arraignment hearing where a bond will be considered.

Bonnie Marie Nix, was charged with  Possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, Possession of Hydrocodone, Possession of Alprazolam, Possession of methamphetamine, and Possession of marijuana.

Johnny Keith Rambo, Danielle Parkinson, and George Howard Beckham, Jr. were all charged with Possession of methamphetamine.
