SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Armstrong Atlantic State University hosted their Leadership Lecture Series Tuesday night, and WTOC's own Dawn Baker was the keynote speaker.

Speakers included guests from the military and the environmental sector.

Armstrong says there's a real need for leadership, and sharing.

"When you have the number of students and community members who come out to an event like this, it tells us that people really do want to hear people who make a difference in the community because people like dawn who engage in leadership in their everyday lives make such a difference and they make savannah the wonderful community that it really is," said AASU President Dr. Linda Bleicken.
