IRWIN CO., GA (WALB) -

Irwin County Sheriff's investigators are processing a car stolen during a home invasion robbery last night.

They say two men wearing ski masks and carrying FBI badges kicked in the door of a home at 115 Parakeet Lane east of Ocilla last night just before 8 p.m.

Officials say the men were carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, and tied up two people, covered their eyes with duct tape and took $1,700 and a 2012 Dodge Challenger.

Authorities say the robbers hit one of the victims in the face with the butt of the shotgun and cut the other with a razor, but the victims did not require medical attention and are expected to be okay.

The car was found by a farmer in a field off of Bluebird Road Monday afternoon.

If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call the Irwin County Sheriff's Department at 229-468-7459.
