A suspicious package found at the federal courthouse in downtown Savannah has been identified as undried glue, according to Savannah Fire and Emergency Services.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police and Savannah Fire crews responded to the federal courthouse at about 10 a.m. at 125 Bull St. in response to a suspicious package.
"Right now, all I know is an envelope was found with a "paste" inside. It was bagged and put into a restroom so it is contained," said Mark Keller, spokesman for Savannah Fire & Emergency Services.
