HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) -

Lots of folks turned out for a fun time on Sunday in Hinesville for Family Fun Day.

The family friendly fun day included a bike run and a car show. This was to benefit Marine Toys for Tots. Folks had a great time dancing, face painting, and participating in arts and crafts. There was also a bouncy house and plenty of food and drinks. This was the first time organizers held a car show as part of the event and they said it all turned out great.

"It's been fantastic because it's a very diverse, dynamic group of people. You can hear the music going on, it's a fun atmosphere, yet it's still a family event, so it's good," said Kara Ford, Toys for Tots, Liberty and Long counties.

All the proceeds for the event went to buy toys for the Liberty and Long county Toys for Tots. So far, two thousand children have signed up to receive toys this year.
