Lee County fans are planning something different as they host Effingham County.

"The atmosphere OS the school is a lot of school pride and enthusiasm. So the students are dressed up in black today, so they are excited about that and the team will be dressed in black as well," said Lee County High School Assistant Principal.

The Westover marching band is ready to help pump up the team and crowd.

"We decided to add two songs, "We Just Got Paid" and "June 27th" to kind of get the crowd hyped up," said Briana Jackson Westover Drum Major.

Both teams are say they're ready for the big games because of their hard work.

"Well our football team has been practicing hard, but coach is treating it like another game. We are very excited our staff we've dressed for spirit this week," said Westover High School Assistant Principal Dr. Kimberly Ingram.

"Any other game, focus is the same practice is the same everything is the same just so we can win," said Larry Childs Westover High School football player.

"Personally I think we can go all the way, I really do you know. I think we have the talent, heart and the pride to be able to do it," said Kirven Davis Lee County High School football player.
