Sandy Springs police search for shooting suspect

SANDY SPRINGS, GA (CBS46) -

Police in Sandy Springs are searching for a man accused of shooting another man Friday.

Authorities obtained a murder warrant for Tranquilino Garcia-Lorenzo, 31, for the killing of 28-year-old Freddie Rosales-Ruano.

Police said Rosales-Ruano was shot and killed on Northwood Drive just after 10 a.m. Friday morning.

Rosales-Ruano was shot on the sidewalk in front of a shopping center next to an apartment complex.

A man was seen running from the scene.

    The Lee County fire chief is issuing a warning tonight about how hot playground equipment can get during the summer. Chief David Forrester said some equipment can reach more than 150-degrees this time of the year.
