SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Metro police have reopened Ogeechee Road after an early morning hit and run crash.

Officers had to divert the eastbound traffic on Ogeechee Road Friday morning for over two hours as SCMPD Major Accident Investigation Team officers investigated a hit and run accident involving a bicyclist. There is no word on the victim's condition at this time.

MAIT continues to investigate.  

Anyone with information on the collision is asked to call Crimestoppers at 912.234.2020 or text CRIMES (274637). Tipsters remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
