Grand Strand, Pee Dee record lows shattered

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Thursday morning's frigid temperatures are breaking records all across the Grand Strand and Pee Dee.

The low in Myrtle Beach hit 27 degrees, shattering the record low for November 14. The previous record was set in 2003, at 33 degrees.  Florence was 23 degrees Thursday morning, the previous record low was set in 1984 at 28 degrees. Temperatures could keep falling because of clear skies and no wind.
