Calico Holiday Arts and Crafts Show shines this weekend

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

You can get a head start on the holidays at the Calico Holiday Arts and Crafts Show this weekend in Moultrie.

It features more than 3-hundred booths of arts and crafts and more than 4-hundred vendors.

There will be plenty of food and entertainment.

Santa will also be there to get a preview of your Christmas list and snap a picture with you.

"We have everything from clothing to jewelry to decorations. Outdoor and indoor furniture we also have lots of good food and we will have entertainment all throughout the weekend," said Gina McDonald Director of Marketing and public relations. 

The event at Spence Field runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Admission is $5 per adult; children 12 and under are free with an adult.

    A South Georgia county honored a fallen police officer Sunday, recognized 84 years after his death in the line of duty. It was a day of joy as one man got to see his uncle's name now etched into Colquitt County's monument honoring fallen first responders.
