    An overnight crash involving semi truck turned deadly on Interstate 75 in Crisp County.According to Crisp County Sheriff Billy Hancock, a car suffered a blowout and came to a rest in the traffic lane of I-75 south near exit 94.While awaiting assistance from a deputy, a tractor trailer slammed into the back of the car. The driver was thrown from the vehicle and killed.It happened around 1:45 AM.The truck driver was not seriously injured.The Georgia State Patrol and the GDOT are investigating.T...More >>

CAMILLA, GA (WALB) -

65-miles of great deals will stretch along Highway 37 Saturday. The 7th annual Southwest Georgia High Cotton yard sale stretches from Fort Gaines to Camilla.

Just in Mitchell County, close to 70 people have registered to sell their items. Event organizers say there's something for everyone.

"Everything from your typical yard sale items, clothes, shoes, furniture. You'll have some people with food, drinks and refreshments, I mean you name it and you'll find it out here," said Executive Director Jennifer Bunrum.  

The yard sale begins at 7 a.m.
