MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

A special table is set up at the Wendy's in Moultrie to honor veterans.

It's filled with symbolism. The table cloth is white for the purity of the motives of our troops when they serve.

The chair represents the thousands of family members who sit and wait for their heroes to return home.

Managers say it's important to honor service members all year, but especially around Veterans Day.

"We wanted to do this to honor our veterans and we just want to say it's not about any war it's about the warrior and those who serve and hoping that they will return safely," said Wildeaneasters-McClelland, Wendy's manager.

Monday, veterans will read the children's book "America's White Table."

From six to eight kids meals will be at a special price and Veterans not only get a discount at the restaurant Monday, but also every day.
