Hundreds of eager college students attended a career fair Thursday in hopes of landing a job.
This year's Community Career Resource Fair kicked off at Moultrie Technical College's Tifton Campus.
Moultrie Tech and the Tifton office of the Georgia Department of Labor joined together to hold the event. More than 50 businesses and industries were there to speak with potential employees.
"We, as a technical school, thrive on workforce development. And we are so happy that we're able to host an event like this where our students can come in, even before they're ready to graduate," said Bridgett Adams of Moultrie Technical College.
Organizers say about 300 students attended. The event was also open to community members.
