WALB's Most Wanted: Terrance Antonio Wheeler

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

On tonight's most wanted, suspected burglar, with a lot of patience is caught on surveillance camera, But his three trips in and out of business caught some good angles of his face on video, and police trying to track him down.

Moultrie Police have issued warrants for Terrance Antonio Wheeler's arrest after a recent break in at Ponder's Seafood.

Wheeler tried for several minutes to break inside the business before leaving and coming back with tools that helped him pry his way through a window. He stole hundreds of dollars, a pistol, and cigarettes.

But he made a mistake. During the burglary police he left his wallet in the store and then came back a third time to retrieve it. MPD officers served a search warrant at Ponder's girlfriend's house.

He wasn't there but they recovered a gray jacket they believe Wheeler was wearing in the video.  Detectives and they tell me he could be hiding in the Albany-Dougherty County area.

If you see him or know where he is, call Moultrie Police at 229-890-5500.
