Coroner says East Albany death was by natural causes

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The Dougherty County Coroner says a woman's death investigated by Albany Police happened by natural causes.

Coroner Michael Fowler says an autopsy performed on Raven Reeves, 21, revealed no signs of foul play in the investigation.

"She had been sick," said Reeves' friend Rhonda Lane. "They sent her home from work a couple of days ago, because she was sick.  Sent her home early from work."

Reeves was found dead at a home on Sutton Place Thursday night. She was initially taken to Phoebe Putney Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
