Wiregrass Tech offers Associate Degree in Nursing

VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College will be accepting the first class of students for the Associate of Science in Nursing program.

 The program is pending final approval by SACSCOC, the accrediting body of Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.

Students interested in applying for the program should submit a completed application by December 3, 2013.

Students are eligible to submit an application for admissions to the program if they are core complete or will be core complete following Fall Semester 2013 and have completed the HESI exam with the minimum required score.

The Associate of Science Degree in Nursing is a program offered on the Valdosta Campus of Wiregrass.

Spring Semester classes begin January 7, 2014.

    Five new family medicine doctors will soon enter the workforce after spending three years of their residency here in Albany. Doctors Danielle Andrews, Sarah Codrea, Justin Lancaster, John Macon and Jennifer Yam graduated the Phoebe Family Medicine Residency program Saturday night at the Doublegate Country Club.
