Morgan, GA (WALB) -

A Calhoun Co. jail inmate is back in jail after bold escape from jail this morning.

Sheriff Josh Hilton says Tony Curry managed to jump a barbed wire fence at the jail in Morgan. But he was only on the run for about 30 minutes until he was caught, and put back behind bars.

Curry, shown last week on WALB, was accused of stealing three trailers and selling them for scrap metal. He's also a registered sex offender.

Our tips helped law officers track him to a motel this week in Blakely. Additional Charges related to his escape are pending.
