ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Westover High School got $6,000 check Wednesday afternoon from Sunbelt Ford of Albany.

The money came from a Ford Drive For Your School event where the company donates $20 per test drive.

Sales Manager Michael Ervin said, "It feels great to be able to help the local community. School boards are crunched for money, so it's a way organizations can continue to do the things for the kids to keep the kids engaged"

Sunbelt Ford held a fundraiser for Lee County High School a few months ago and is planning future events for other schools in Dougherty County.
