Two Albany cars intentionally set on fire


Albany Fire Department investigators are trying to figure out who set two cars on fire at a South Albany apartment complex early Tuesday morning.

About 4 A-M Tiffany Cleveland and Kermit Crawford's cars were set on fire in the parking lot of an apartment complex on West Gordon Avenue.

Firefighters say an accelerant was used.

Someone spotted the back bumper of the White Mercedes on fire.

When firefighters arrived they found a fire inside the black Ford parked right next to it.

Investigator Sam Harris said "They were both set on fire. they were both intentional fires and we are investigating to determine why those two ladies cars were set on fire."
