ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

No matter how old we get, we never grow out of the love for the fair. The Exchange Club Fair of South Georgia opens Tuesday November 5th at 4pm. Crews are working hard to get everything ready in time for opening day.

New acts added this year included in ticket prices are Willie & Company, a ventriloquist show, The Barnyard Review teaching farming with life size cartoon farm characters, a variety show with magic, and a BMX bicycle trick show. Plus the demolition derby is sure to please.

Fair officials want you to know they take every safety precaution possible to ensure you have a good time.

Fair manager Skip Nichols says, "They do a maintenance check every morning as well as they are inspected by the state of Georgia to approve the rides that go through the week."

The fair runs until November 10th. The Hours of operation are Tuesday through Friday from 4 to midnight. Saturday from 11 to 1 AM and Sunday from 1PM until about 9PM depending on the crowd.

For more information on show times and prices, entrance fees, exhibit information, etc. and fair phone numbers for general questions visit www.exchangeclubfair.org
