City of Florence app available on IOS Apple and Android devices

FLORENCE, SC (WMBF) – The City of Florence has launched a new smartphone application that is available now on IOS Apple operating systems and Android devices.

The app provides users with city information and can be searched for and downloaded by using the keywords, "City of Florence, SC". The official City of Florence app will display the city seal, as shown on the side of the article.

Users can read about the following:

  • Welcome to Florence – provides City's history and other general information which is a great resource for new residents!
  • City Life – provides information on amenities in our area such as the Florence Trail system, Parks & Recreation, along with hotel/restaurant information.
  • Events & Entertainment – provides updates on City events.  Get all your 2013 SC Pecan Festival information here!
  • Downtown – provides all information on events and activities in downtown.
  • City Services – provides information on city services by department.
  • Community Partnerships – provides information on events and activities with our partners in the community.

The application can be downloaded now.
