NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A local convenience store has been robbed twice in the past week, and right now, there's a search ongoing for the suspect who may have held it up again overnight.

They are not sure if it was the same man, but police are trying to get him off the streets before he strikes again.

The clerk at the Mapco Mart on Nolensville Pike near Thompson Lane told police the man walked in just before midnight, pulled out a knife and told her to empty the register. She handed him the money, and he took off.

The store employee says the suspect is a Hispanic male between 5'9" and 5'10" in his late 20s or 30s with a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue Hollister hoodie with white letters on his sleeves and a dark beanie and jeans.

If you were in the area around that time and saw anything weird or suspicious, call Metro police.
